Pennsylvania "weeping heart" Bag

We are pleased to offer wide variety of hunting pouches and possibles bags.

(SKU #000200

This a a copy of an early "weeping heart" possibles pouch from the Pennsylvania area. This theme was seen on several possibles bags from the late 1700's though the early 1800's. It has 4-5 ounce oil tanned leather with heavy construction and threading to last a long time.

Top left, the heart cut-out would have been made from any materials available to the maker of the time period; this has red velvet.

Above, the pouch is constructed with heavy waxed thread with a conagher signature cross-stitch around the flap.

Left, the strap is a standard 43", made of cotton, which most straps were of the time. The strap is made to be worn on the right hip unless otherwise requested. A leather strap can be replaced for an additional $20
